MEDIPAL Group took part in the Pharmacy Summit «Effective Pharmacy Chain Management 2023»

On March 14, the anniversary XX Pharmacy Summit «Effective Pharmacy Chain Management 2023» was held in Moscow. In online and offline formats, the event brought together more than 600 participants – owners and managers of the largest federal and regional networks, heads of representative offices, CEOs and top managers of pharmaceutical manufacturers and distributors, heads of associations and marketing partnerships, representatives of professional and business media.

The summit discussed the results of the past 2022. The business program of the event was continued by a foresight session that brought together the heads of the largest networks, manufacturers and distributors in Russia. The central topic of discussion was the consequences of the strongest adrenaline in the market caused by the rush demand in 2022, as well as the natural decline of the pharmaceutical retail in the first quarter of this year.

Key changes in legislative practice were discussed by the participants of the plenary discussion «Business and government: on the way to cooperation». The discussion concerned the specifics of the interaction of participants in the chain «regulator – manufacturer – distributor – pharmacy», issues of import substitution, protection and survival of small and medium-sized pharmacy businesses. Also, one of the central topics of discussion was the law on the revival of industrial pharmacies in Russia.
